Almost A Year Has Gone By With No Blogging!

I LOVE going back to see the fun things we've done over the year and it always amazes me to see how much Micah has changed and how the Lord has blessed us. Going to do my best at catching us up the last 10 months.

Last blog was in June Micah turned 2!

July: we became landlords and bought a new house. We moved in the week of the 4th and were able to watch fireworks from the roof of our new pad! We had SOO many people help with the move it was an incredible blessing! (No this pic was not taken in July) :) So far our tenants have been awesome and we just love the new place!

Transition to big boy bed and attempt to potty train. 1st one went awesome...2nd one, not so much. (Also was learning to ride a bike with training wheels)

Our subdivision has a pool which was a huge perk! Micah and I lived there this summer. Can't wait for the weather to heat up again!

Eichelberger's came out for a visit and we took a trip to Zoo Boise. Micah liked the butterfly exhibit till one landed on him. :)

August: we found out that baby #2 was on it's way and would be here sometime early May.

It became tradition on Sunday nights to go for bike rides on the green belt and let Micah throw rocks and sticks in the water. (The pic below is during one of those rides where we stopped off and snapped some 2yr. photos).

September: Eichelberger's stayed with us and we all woke up early to go to the balloon launch over Labor Day weekend. We also took a trip to CO to see my fam (no photos). My Grandparents came from Nebraska so we were able to see them too!! Also BSU football started up and we were able to go to more games then we thought we would (especially Brett).

October: Our lil guy was a Tiger for Halloween. It's tradition every year to go to the pumpkin patch and trick or treat with the same clan.

November: No pics but Eichelberger's came and stayed with us over Thanksgiving and Great Grandma Vida also came.


December: Brett surprised me with plane tickets to CO over Christmas break, we celebrated our 7 year anniversary with a Christmas light helicopter tour plus dinner, and this was the month that Micah was so incredibly sick with some horrible stomach virus that lasted WAY TOO LONG!

January: We decided to keep the sex of the baby a surprise. (22w)

February: Started potty training phase 2, had a family day in McCall for the Winter Carnival. Rex and Eileen took Micah to Utah to spend the long weekend with the Eichelberger's and gave us a weekend off! LOVE me some Brett time!

March: Brett and I went up to McCall with a group of friends for the weekend to hangout and be kid-free! We just got back from Florida where we were able to stay with Grandma. Eileen, Caroline and Elie were also there. The time there always
flies! The trip included lots of pool time, ocean, beach, Disney World, and LOTS of RELAXATION.

Meeting Buzz Lightyear/going on the Buzz ride and seeing "Zurg"-Micah's highlight, for sure! We have yet a day to go by without him telling us alllll about it. :)


As you can see not too much happened in the last 10 months. ;) I'm not sure why the Lord has blessed me like He has but I am so very grateful. His grace is evident in my life!! Now we're just counting down the weeks (3-6) till baby arrives and anxious to have him/her join our family! Next update I'm sure will be us announcing baby! Be checking back!
