Potty Training?
Micah usually communicates with us by all sign language but one thing he verbally says is 'poop'. He's been saying it in context for the last month or so...usually wanting us to change him after he goes. Well the last 2 weeks he's been saying it before he goes so we just thought we'd try and put him on the toilet when he says it and what do you know?! He's been pooping on the pot! It CAN'T be that easy! He's only 17 months so I'm a little skeptical. The books I've read said start boys the day after they turn 3. Hmm...I'd love any input. We've had good success so far, but I'll take any advice I can get.
Brett bought him a potty training seat, and it was so much easier to use instead of trying to do a balancing act with him. I think Micah felt more secure on it too b/c we had another successful day! (I'm sure he'll appreciate this picture when he's older)

That is way too awesome!! My grandma swears she potty trained my uncle at 6 months, ya I don't think so. More power to lil Micah!!! Maybe he can be an inspiration to C, she's terrified of the pot. :) But the last couple weeks she's been dropping her diaper on her own and running around all tribal, sometimes making a stinky mess...

The boys both went #2 on the potty reliably around age two but waited until closer to age three to stay dry. Go Micah!
